These are fantastic, and what a great idea for this week’s challenge. I’ve yet to see a beaver in the wild, but always see their tree damage. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! They are amazing to watch, and I was very surprised at how close I was able to get. Though one of them wanted nothing to do with me, the other didn’t seem bothered at all.
Thank you Robyn, and yes they were. I was able to watch them for several days in a row. They come out right on schedule at around 5:30 p.m. The best part was being able to get the great late day light on the beaver and then turn around and get a pretty good sunset too.
2 for 1 – yes – that is amazing that you could observe them for days in a row – how fun! the shots (and sunset) are so great — 🙂 ~ Sending Love and best wishes to you and yours!
Thanks Ruth! If you haven’t figured it out yet, I’m not one to take the weekly theme too literally. In fact I’ve often been so loose with my interpretation if the theme wasn’t directly stated in the title nobody would have a clue 😀

Yup, these have had quite a day, all right. I think I prefer one of my own, though, rather than swimming around in ice water!
Gary, you just don’t have the right coat. 😀
Or the right distribution of subcutaneous fat. I probably have enough, but it’s not in the right places.
Beautiful!
Happy Easter! Enjoy the rest of your Sunday.
All the best
Dina
Thank you Dina, sorry I missed this yesterday. I hope you had a wonderful Easter!
One of these gorgeous photographs makes a cameo appeareance in my own “Day in the Life” 🙂
Well yes it does, thank you! 😀
Stunning Jeff! A busy beaver!! 🙂

Ah-mazing!
Thank you very much!
Love the shot that shows his liittle hands 🙂
That is my favorite as well. Even as large as they are they’re still kind of cute too.
Beautiful shots as always!
Thank you, as always 😉
amazing shots as always, a really wonderful day ^^
Thanks kz, they probably lead a more exciting life than I do 🙂
Love this post, Jeff! What a creative take on the theme. 😉

Shouldn’t the title be “A day in a beaver’s life”? 😀
