    1. Thank you Adri, you are far too kind. I do suggest you set your sights a little higher than “half as good” though.

The best piece of advice I can offer you if you want to make better photos, besides practice, practice, practice, is to become very familiar with your alarm clock. Because in all honesty, half of good landscape photography is being willing to get out of bed at insanely early hours, well before sunrise, or stay out well after the sun goes down, in order to be there when the light is at its best.

Lastly, I love to help. If you’re interested, I’d be more than willing to answer any questions you may have to help you reach a much higher goal than “half as good.” ๐Ÿ˜€

  1. Well, in the end it’s always comes down to the eyes behind the camera, you’re very skilled photographer, Jeff. It’s pleasure to see thorugh your eyes.

    1. You are very welcome! I have found that I really do love to help beginning photographers. I guess I’m “paying it forward.” With all of the help I received when I was starting out, I feel I owe a debt to help others. It doesn’t hurt that I really like it too ๐Ÿ™‚ So, if you ever have any questions, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

  2. Hello!

I have been part of the wordpress world for less than an hour and I am completely in photography heaven with your work! I was unsure about this website and how it could fuel my artistic side but now I have a reason.
I look forward to pop by your blog frequently to back track and to tune in to future posts! I’m excited to start my new journey with my new dslr!

    1. Thank you very much! I’m glad to hear that I was one of your first stops on WordPress. I hope I can live up to your expectations. If you’d like to stay up to date, just click on “subscribe,” and you’ll be notified via email every time I add a new post. Like I’m going to be doing soon for the Weekly Photo Challenge. Which I highly recommend you participate in. It’s a great way to get to see other people’s blogs, and with a new weekly theme you can exercise your creativity by photographing something that fits the theme.

Also, as I offer all new photographers who stumble across my blog, if you have any question, please feel free to ask.

Comments and thoughtful critiques are always welcome.
