Beautiful images… make me look forward to the festive season even more! 🙂
Thank you. I could not see the images yesterday.
You and a lot of other people. Thank you very much for your patience.
so pretty…
Thank you!
I like all three…the top for catching the stars…the middle for the emphasis on the church and the candle because the Christmas lights came out awesome which only focuses your attention even more on the candle.
Thanks Mrs. P, for such a wonderful well thought out compliment.
Beautiful seasonal photos!
Thanks Elina!
Really nice blog and collection of images to help get into the holiday spirit!
Thank you Denise. Tis the season 😉
Beautifu photos! Is that Nubble Lighthouse? We’d heard they put Christmas lights on it and were considering making the trek to see and photograph it.
Thank you! Yes it is. In fact the annual lighting was this weekend, which I avoided at all costs. The crowds are insane. From frustrating experience, if you’d like to capture a photo similar to this I highly recommend you go either very, very early in the morning, or very, very, very late at night. I lost count of the number of ruined exposures caused by people pulling in and illuminating the lighthouse with their car headlights. If I go again this year I think it will be very early. I shot this at around 10 p.m. and there were just too many cars. I usually have most places to myself in the hours leading up to sunrise though.
Very well not! I love shooting outdoor, evening images like these.
Beautiful seasonal captures
Thanks Nora!

I absolutely love that last image.
Me too! 😉
It is a little out of my normal subject matter, so I”m glad it came out well.
Just beautiful!
Thanks!
Superb photos Jeff! Where is the town square? Portsmouth?
Thanks David. You are correct, this is Market Square, right in the middle of downtown Portsmouth.
