Thanks Sally, this is from my secret stash. A nice little spot I haven’t shared with anyone that has loads of painted trillium and quite a few pink lady’s slippers.
Nice post Jeff. I haven’t gotten around to posting anything yet, but I will soon. Lately I’ve published some travel photos from India & The North of Norway.
I’ve just begun thinking about my first wildflower hikes for the season. Last year, I found red and white trillium (but I have never seen the two-colored kind that you show). Can’t wait for these beauties to pop out again!
Me as well, though winter is still what I’m after now. As for the painted trillium, if you’re ever in NH, I take you to my secret spot. Blindfolded of course 😉
This whet my appetite for the colors of spring even more. I enjoy winter and the snow, but each season is both fulfilling and filled with longing for the next. I like how you got three of three, too.
Sweet wildflower plant: trillium is a fragile and delicate beauty.

Ah, the spring ephemerals! Whetting my appetite for May to come around….
I hear you! I’m nowhere near done with winter yet, but I do look forward to spring wildflowers very soon!
So beautiful. I look forward to seeing these shoots. For now I am tired of snow and ice!
Thanks, but not me! I’ve still got a few more winter hikes, mountain top sunrises, and snowy forest scenes in me yet. 😉

Trilliums, my favorite, delicate sign of spring. Far more lovely than the daffodils.
Agreed, and the trilliums aren’t in every yard either, making them all the more special.
Beautiful!
Thank you.
I like the tree with a twist beautifully entangled.

Totally understand – I wouldn’t give the places away where I found the pink and yellow lady slippers either 🙂
Oh I share the Lady’s Slipper location freely, it’s the Painted Trillium I’m a little more hush-hush about.
Good choices Jeff – spring is springing here in SC but I suspect you may be a bit further behind 🙂 Lovely captures all.
Thanks Tina. Thankfully spring is NOT springing here 🙂 I still have several hikes/photos I want to make, and they require snow covered mountains 😀

Thank you, and you’re quite welcome. 😀
