Thank you! All of my processing starts in Lightroom for the basics, white balance, lens correction, crop if needed, etc. and then it’s off to one of the Nik plugins, most often Color Efex Pro 4. Where I’ve come up with a few of my own presets that I play around with.
Thanks. If nothing else it has made my life easier. Sure I could learn how to do almost anything Color Efex can do in Photoshop, but I have no desire to.
Thanks Norma. I can thank my iPhone for this one. I was backpacking in the White Mountains when I walked through this section of forest. I knew there was a photo here, but I was having trouble isolating a decent composition. So I whipped out my brandy new iPhone6 and took a test shot. I liked what I saw so off came the pack and out came the “real” camera.
Have you started writing poems now? Marvelous!!!!
Lately yes, and I have no idea where they are coming from.
Very strange for someone who hated English class as much as I did, isn’t it?
Mountains and solitude are doing their spell on you 😀 Glad to know it, Jeff…
Beautiful picture! I like this ambiance! Good day!
Yes, and we must work to preserve open space. I’m fortunate to live in a state, Delaware, that has done its share in conservation efforts.
Beautiful picture and beautiful words.
stunning.what method did you use to enhance the colours; Photoshop, or another mode?

Cool.
Beautiful greens, Color efex has worked well for you.

Wonderful lines and a beautiful photo, Jeff. 🙂

I love this part of the forest right after a rain, it turns such a gorgeous emerald green.
I kept expecting/hoping to see elves and fairies peeking out at me.
Lovely peaceful image with beautiful soft lighting, such green moss!
Love the photo. It does say solitude.
It felt like solitude as well. Not many others on the trail that early in the morning.
Just looking at the picture is peaceful, one can only imagine how peaceful it is in person.
It truly was. I had just gotten an early start on the trail and there wasn’t a soul for miles. I had that entire section of forest all to myself.
