Surprisingly enough, life has gotten in the way a bit over the last few days, so without any more delay, my Galileo thermometer is the subject of the day for Day 19.

Those things always look so fascinating — clearly here as well.
Do they actually give pretty accurate temperature readings, too?
They seem to, but only so much so since each glass float has a 10° tag on it. So there is a bit of guess work based on how many and how high each one is floating. I pretty much wanted one more for the decoration than anything.
