Join me, October 17th to the 19th, for a White Mountain photo adventure.

From scenic mountain views, to the classic white steepled church, the White Mountains of New Hampshire is a landscape photographer dream.

The Little White Church.

Itinerary.

Plan to meet Thursday afternoon/evening for introductions and a brief discussion of what to expect over the next two days of photographic exploration. Depending on the groups arrival in the North Conway area we may be able to combine the meet and greet with a short outing to one of the nearby covered bridges, waterfalls, or the fun to explore ruins of the abandoned Redstone Granite Quarry.

Redstone Remains.
This could be you!

We won’t want to stay out too late though, because we’ll be getting up bright and early the next morning to greet the new day with a sunrise photo shoot at one of my favorite scenic locations.

Reflections worth getting up early for.
A bridge with a view.

After the morning session in the field, there will be a short break to grab a bite to eat before we have an image review and post processing discussion. For this I’ll arrange for the use of a conference room at the Mount Washington Weather Discovery Center right in downtown N. Conway.

During this time I’ll go over some of the techniques I utilize within Lightroom and the Nik Collection by DxO to go from original RAW file to finished image.

Then, once we’ve had a chance to freshen up and recharge batteries, it’s off to capture sunset.

Foss Mountain, a short hike to big mountain views.
An evening with the Presidents.

Did I mention waterfalls? If time and weather permit there are numerous waterfalls throughout the White Mountains, many require only a short hike from the car. So even if it is cloudy and rainy there will be plenty of opportunities and options to photograph.

Then, after a full day of photographic adventure, we will do it all over again the next day. Different locations of course.
